Rogers Named Principal of Cheraw Intermediate School beginning with the 2023-2024 School Year

Mrs. Rogers began her career with Chesterfield County School District in 1998 as a first-grade teacher at Cheraw Primary School.  She also taught second grade while at Cheraw Primary.  In 2017, Mrs. Rogers transitioned into administration by accepting the assistant principal position at Cheraw Intermediate School.  In 2018, she was elected as the Educator of the Year by Coker University for her positive impact on interns aspiring to be teachers.

 

Mrs. Rogers attended Francis Marion University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She later added Early Childhood certification to her professional certificate through completing coursework at the College of Charleston.  Mrs. Rogers earned a Masters’ Degree in Instructional Accommodations for the Divergent Learner from Francis Marion University and a second Masters’ Degree in Educational Leadership from Winthrop University.  Mrs. Rogers has also participated in the district’s Aspiring Principals program.
