Tracy Hatcher has been employed in Chesterfield County for 30 years and currently teaches 8th Grade Social Studies at Chesterfield-Ruby Middle School. Her School Administrator wrote, “Mrs. Hatcher’s dedication to the students of Chesterfield-Ruby Middle School and Chesterfield County Schools is evident. Not only is Mrs. Hatcher a teacher that builds relationships with all students, she provides quality instruction with real-world applications”.
Angela Cannon has been employed in Chesterfield County for 20 years and currently teaches Mathematics at Cheraw High School. Mrs. Cannon’s School Administrator wrote, “Mrs. Cannon is an asset to the Cheraw High School faculty. She is knowledgeable and ready to assist where needed”.

National Board’s Maintenance of Certification measures how a National Board-Certified Teacher has demonstrated that they are an accomplished teacher, they have continued to grow in their professional practice and have positively impacted student learning. Maintenance of Certification requires National Board-Certified Teachers to document their professional accomplishments every five years to keep their Board certification current and valid.
